Church Programs

Church School students worship with the congregation at 10 AM every Sunday until they leave to go to their classes following the children’s story.  Classes are for all ages from pre-school (3-4 year olds) to Senior High.  Classes end at 11:15 AM.  Eighth & Ninth Grades comprise the confirmation class, which meets with the pastor for additional religious instruction.  There is also a nursery available for infants and toddlers.  Church school is offered each Sunday with the exception of Easter, Christmas, New Years and during the summer weeks starting the third Sunday in June to the second Sunday in September.  Each year the students take part in two programs, a Christmas performance in December and Children's Day in June.  For 1 week each summer we offer a Vacation Bible School.

Women's Association is the female membership  (active or inactive) of the Presbyterian Church. All women are welcomed and encouraged to become involved in the association events.  Council meets the first Monday of each month to conduct the business of the group.  Nicean Circle meets the third Monday of each month.  They have a Bible study and guest speakers who speak to current social and spiritual issues.  The women are extremely active in their support of church activities.

A subgroup (Shawl Ministry) was added by our Women's Association and was begun in 2007.  It has distributed shawls to the sick, elderly, new members, newly baptized members,  and those who just need to know someone is thinking of them.  If you wish to know more about Shawl Ministry go to www.shawlministry.com .

Ministry of Music Our church has an active Chancel Choir, which meets each Thursday at 7:30 P.M. throughout the year for rehearsal and sings each Sunday morning during the service.  A Bell Choir also rehearses each Thursday at 6:30 P.M.  A Children's Choir rehearses on Sunday morning just after the morning worship service from about 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM.  The children singing in church is always a special occasion.  Join a choir!  You'll find the rewards far exceed the efforts.
