The Water Powered Car!
Almost everyone knows that any gas powered vehicle can be converted to run off of Hydrogen gas. There are those few out there who are doing just that. Even some city governments use Hydrogen powered vehicles. One method is to produce your own Hydrogen at home using a few solar panels supplying the necessary power to crack (create) the Hydrogen from water in an enclosed tank. During the night, the Hydrogen that was cracked during the day is pumped into a Fuel Cell located in the vehicle where it's slowly absorbed and stored in a very safe manner. The Fuel Cell contains Metal Hydrides that soak up Hydrogen like a sponge soaks up water. When Hydrogen gas is needed, the Fuel Cell is heated which releases the stored Hydrogen and is then supplied to the engine of the vehicle. Currently, Fuel Cells can only hold around 1 to 2 percent of their weight in Hydrogen at room temperature, so a 100 pound Fuel Cell can store only 1 to 2 pounds of Hydrogen.
Hydrogen powered vehicles are almost as efficient as gasoline powered vehicles and instead of producing harmful exhausts, the only thing that comes out of the tail pipe of a Hydrogen powered vehicle is water and water vapor, water in the form of steam. Yes! Only water! No harmful gases that add to our Earth's green house effect. If every one decided to start producing their own Hydrogen for car fuel, there would be no need for gas storing Filling Stations. No reason for dependency on foreign oil. No real reason to be in Iraq or any other country killing for oil. No reason for the loss of lives of our woman and men who are over there fighting, and no great need for the almighty Black Gold other then perhaps for asphalt and some plastics which we could substitute with other materials. Oil can also be manufactured from many of our own waste products and that's occurring right now but in small quantities.
So why, do you ask, aren't we running all of our vehicles on Hydrogen?? Very good question!!

An oil based economy is BIG BIG BIG money for many people including the Oil companies. All of these people would be out of business if everyone started producing their own Hydrogen to power their cars. One way these power hungry Oil companies can create income with Hydrogen would be to get into the Hydrogen production business and sell it to the public just like it's done right now with gasoline. You'd drive into a gas station and fill up with Hydrogen. The problem here is that current Hydrogen Storage Fuel Cell technology is very expensive and, it takes time to fill up with a tankful of Hydrogen unless you can find a 700 bar pump station which will reduce fill times down to around 5 minutes. This of course could be done over night at ones own residence using solar panels but then the Oil Barons wouldn't be making money and your driving range would be limited. So Hydrogen filling stations would extend one's travel range and when a method is finally invented to produce Hydrogen Storage Fuel Cells cheaply and to quickly fill your Fuel Cell, Hydrogen will become our next government accepted transportation fuel. But, (and that's a big but), there is a way right now that has already been patented to actually allow one to put a water hose into your vehicle's gas tank or (in this case) water tank and drive off into the sunset.
Not to long ago in the 70's, a man who's name was Stanley Meyer discovered a way to crack Hydrogen by using a high AC voltage low current method producing Hydrogen on demand, a rate fast enough to supply an engine with the amount of hydrogen necessary to run off of the voltage created by the automobiles own electric alternator/generator. The amount of energy produced using his method of cracking Hydrogen is around 7 times greater than the amount of energy needed to produce the Hydrogen. In some sense, it's like using one gallon of gasoline to produce 7 gallons of gasoline! A form of perpetual motion one might ask?? Perhaps...

So you could fill up your vehicles gas (water) tank from home with your garden hose in just a few minuets for just pennies a tank full, turn the ignition key just like on today's vehicles and the engine would start up immediately and off you'd go dripping a very small amount of water behind you. THIS IS ALL TRUE! Stanley Meyer actually received patents for his HH0 splitting invention. He was also offered well over 1 billion dollars from the Arabs and requests were made from people most likely from our own government to shelf his invention and keep quiet but he continued forward and completed a working vehicle using his patented HH0 cracking device. But shortly after, Stanley Meyer died from a cerebral aneurysm on March 21, 1998 while eating at a restaurant. Many say he was poisoned/killed and the Oil Companies and Government(s) were involved.

As of now, there are cars being modified by daring individuals that run on 100% water without the use of Hydrogen Fuel Cells. Stanley Meyer's brother has taken Stanley's work up into Canada continuing where Stanley left off. It may not be long before Canada rolls out a vehicle that does indeed run off of water, producing hydrogen on demand. And, if in fact someone or some group claims they have a car that does this in the future, you can probably bet that the car will disappear along with its inventor(s).
In my opinion, Stanley Meyer is nothing less than a martyr, hero, and possibly one of the greatest Inventors of all time.
Will we ever see the day when water powered vehicles become a reality for everyone? It depends on someone or perhaps a group of individuals who have the courage to refine and package this technology and offer it up to the benefit of all. Cheap conversion kits are available right now that can be produced and added to any existing gasoline or diesel powered engine to run off of hydrogen/gasoline mixture. Maybe someone who reads this article will carry on in the pioneering tradition of Stanley Meyer and give to the world just what it so desperately needs. Clean and free water powered hydrogen transportation and more. Please write the President, your Congressman and Senators today and let them know how you feel and spread the word to everyone you know! Lets make HH0/H2 the fuel source that can power the world, the energy source of today!!!
