RANKS
Ranks are not based on evaluation - they are based on performance. Everyone
starts at the lowest rank when they first become a member , and increases their
rank as they win matches and tournament championships by earning points.
The following are the ranks in order from lowest to highest. If a players
number of points falls within the specified ranges below, their rank for that
game corresponds to the range. Read more about how to earn points below.

The Point System
The number of points a player has in a title determines their level of rank.
A player first introduced to a title starts off with 1000 points. Players earn
more points by winning matches against other team members. Match victories are
determined by a best of 5 set up. The winning player will receive 10% of
the losing players total points, whereas the losing player will lose that same
value.
Example: Player 1 has 1000 points. Player 2 has 1200 points.
If Player 1 wins, Player 1 receives 120 points, and Player 2 loses 120
points.
If player 2 wins, Player 2 receives 100 points, whereas Player 1 loses 100
points.
Draws do not affect points in any way.
These matches must be reported to Exlar. Refs can be present for matches, but not necessary. Also, if players
wish, a higher percentage of points may be agreed upon, but BOTH players must
agree to it.
There are no emulator restrictions, nor are there set days that certain
titles must be played. Any title can be played on any emulator, so long as the
players are registered for that title.
Tournaments
Unlike normal match play, tournaments are on set days and are title specific.
Members will vote on which they would like to play as each tournament day
approaches. Unlike normal match play, players have nothing to lose when
participating in a tournament (except their pride). The further a player goes,
the more points a player can win. See the tournament rules for specific point
breakdown.
