Dianne L. Roman received her BFA from Kent State University in Textile Arts and an MFA in Interrelated Media from the Massachusetts College of Art. Graduate studies at MassArt enabled her to investigate the use of electronic tools for art making while augmenting her passion for pattern, texture and rich color.

Dianne’s subjects are nature both planned and accidental & man-made details revealing a selected history that may be fact or fiction. Combining the sensibilities of an accomplished designer with insatiable curiosity, Ms. Roman uses a computer as the primary tool for the development of her work. For Ms. Roman, image making is story telling.

Professionally she has worked in Computer Graphics and Graphic Design as both a practitioner and educator. She lives in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia with her family and pets.
