OBJECTIVES: This course focuses on typography – its legibility, readability, and use as a visual element. Emphasis is placed on visual expression, composition and problem solving using letterform as the key element. This is an overview course on the topic of type. Various ways and methods to work with type in & as a design solution will be explored. This is not a course in the development of documents. |
