   Today was the culmination of about a year and a half of planning and work.  The new bear pen was finally ready for its first occupants.  We have 6 bear cubs waiting to be released and the pen they were in was getting pretty crowded.  At 10:30 AM the process of moving the cubs into the new pen began.  The days activities have been split into two pages.  Page 1 shows the work involved in getting the cubs out of the old pen and processed by the DNR.  Page 2 shows the cubs installed in and exploring their new pen.  Here's a shot of the new pen.  You can see that it is significantly larger than the old on the left side of the picture.
