Today was a great day for Wild and Free. All of the 5th grade classes at Rippleside Elementary School in Aitkin got together and decided to raise some money for W&F. Over the course of a month, by collecting pocket change every day, they raised $500.00 to help care for our injured and orphaned animals. On this day, Ginny, Becky, and Jim(with his camera) drove to Aitkin to pick up the check. As a token of our appreciation Ginny framed a picture of a recent release of a Red-tailed Hawk to present to the 5th graders. This is the picture.

Here are a couple of pictures taken at Rippleside Elementary while we were there.

Ginny and Becky sitting on stools at the front of the room, waiting for the rest of the students to arrive.

This is half of the group waiting to get started.

Here's the other half.

Finally, here are Madison and Stephanie presenting the check.

We want to thank the 5th graders once again for their generous contribution to Wild and Free.
