Here's a quick update on the bear cubs. They've been climbing a lot recently and every day they seem to want to go a little higher. I had a little trouble finding all of them last time because 2 of them were hiding in the top of a tree. I've pointed them out for you with red arrows.

It's been very nice having the large pen for the bears. We've been able to make good use of their old pen, especially when we work with really big birds like these Trumpeter Swans.

You can see the bandage on the wing of the one in back. As Bob said in his monthly update, it looks like the bird will fully recover and will be released. He also mentioned how difficult it is to give a bird this bid its medicine. You can get some idea of just how big they are from this picture of Bob catching it in order to give it a pill.
