Our 4 cubs are coming along nicely, putting on weight and exploring their surroundings. They'll soon be ready to be released, find a place for a den, and then sleeping away the winter. As you can see from this picture, they've already become quite proficient at tree climbing. I've added a couple of red arrows so you won't miss the two best climbers.

We still have 3 recovering birds in the building waiting to be released. This is one of the most beautiful of the raptors, a Red Tailed Hawk. Hopefully, we'll be able to get some photos of the bird as it heads back into the wild.

Finally, here are the two Trumpeter Swans presently being treated at Wild and Free. The outlook for their release is good. The one on the left has a damaged wing, the other has a damaged leg.
