The Java runtime environment (JRE) of at least version 1.1.7 is required before running
the 68HC12 Simulator. Included on this CD is the Java runtime environment 
Version 1.1.8_005 for Windows 95 / 98 / NT 4.0 (Intel Platform). Install this Java runtime 
environment by clicking on the "jre-1_1_8_005-win.exe" file and follow the prompts.

Unzip the "hc12sim.zip" file into the folder (directory) you will be using. Run the simulator with the 
command line: jre -cp SimHC12.jar SimHC12.

Using "My Computer" or the Explorer, you can also (right mouse button) drag "Runsim.bat" 
from the folder to the desktop, saying you want a shortcut. Then you can click on the icon to 
run the simulator.

The simulator can also be started with several command line options. Please read the html 
documentation for more information.

Be sure to read the file "Readme.txt" which provides Copyright and License information
from the author of the simulator.
