RECITAL Hints and Instructions

Jewelry or nail polish

The whole show is put together with costumes, lights, MC and props.  All students should be in full costume for their dances by 5:00 (NO MAKEUP)  Parents it is your responsibility for changing costumes of young children at the dress rehearsal.  Check the program order that will be on the back wall of the auditorium.  The classes will be called to sit in the front corner close to the stage two dances prior to their performance.  All classes must sit together so they can easily be found. 

 

ALL DANCERS MUST STAY FOR THE PRACTICE OF THE FINALE

We will run through the finale at the intermission time so that small children may leave early.  All children should be a part of the evening finale.  It is a highlight to many of their memories of the recital.

All dancers need to be at the school 45 minutes before each performance!

****CHECKLIST****

1. Laundry Basket—Please keep all essentials in the basket (costumes/shoes/bobby pins, etc..)

2. Make-Up—Please put in a Ziploc with the dancers name

3. Snacks—no messy items.  Clear liquids are best!

4. Robe—A robe is a must whenever they leave the room

5. Rug/blanket to sit on

6. Entertainment—books/coloring/video games

7. Names—please have all items to your costume labeled with your name

8. Have fun and smile, smile, smile

Dance With Me

NEW THIS YEAR!

I have decided this year that after the intermission for the matinee performance only the kids who are finished dancing could come in if they are in street clothes and if they have a seat either purchased or use one of their comp tickets. At night no dancers will be allowed in since they need to be in costume and ready for the finale.
