Notification of Postplacement Fee Payment

This letter is to inform you that Building Blocks Adoption Service, Inc. has contracted with Amrex for your adoption services.  With this contract, the adoptive families are to submit a prepayment of the postplacement fee of two thousand dollars [$2,000] to BBAS for the purpose of completing your postplacement requirements. 

This fee will be forwarded to Amrex to be held as a deposit by them.  If you comply with the postplacement requirements, the deposit will be returned by Amrex to BBAS in $400 increments, in which BBAS will return said fees to the adoptive families. 

If you do not comply with the postplacement requirements, then the monies will be forfeited to Amrex and used by them to force said requirements. 

BBAS will have no right of access to the monies on your behalf unless the postplacement requirements have been met to the satisfaction of Amrex.  Therefore, the monies will only be considered by BBAS to be in satisfaction of your postplacement requirements if said postplacement has been accepted by Amrex.

If the deposit is forfeited to Amrex due to noncompliance, then the fee will remain due to BBAS to complete the postplacements by our agency or another.  BBAS has been informed by Amrex that this procedure cannot and will not be modified.
