~PANTOGRAPHS (edge-to-edge quilting designs)~

Edge-to-edge quilting is a single pantograph or freehand design quilted over the entire top with one thread color. I charge by the starting size of the quilt. (Quilting stitches will shrink the quilt slightly.) Pricing starts at 1.25 cents per square inch. A simple meander is 1 cent per square inch. MINIMUM CHARGE IS $30.

~THREAD FEE~

A small thread fee is needed to cover the cost of thread and shipping. If color changes are required on a quilt, those will be noted in this category also.

~CUSTOM QUILTING~

Custom quilting includes use of multiple designs, borders and block patterns, accenting the quilt top with stitch in ditch, outlining (Outlining is free-hand quilting around applique or designs in the fabric.), echoing, stippling, etc. It can also include crosshatching, echo stitching, diamonds, or anything that requires a lot of marking or planning. Thread colors can vary within the quilt. Prices based on complexity of quilting.

~LINING (quilt backing)~

You provide your own 100% cotton lining or any suitable fabric lining at least 8 inches wider and longer than the quilt top.

THERE IS A SEWING FEE TO SEW YOUR SEAMS IN YOUR LINING OF $5.00 PER SEAM.

~BATTING~

I can supply batting or you may bring or mail your own batting to use. I sell my batting only slightly above cost and I keep rolls of Hobbs on hand. I can also order Warm & Natural.

Shipping for returning your mail order quilt will be calculated at the time of return to you.
