Our Guest Spotlight Page

This is going to be a page dedicated to Guest Scrapbookers. Craf-T Products ran contest and various give aways through different sites. Most of these sites will be listed on our favorites links page. We are going to pick out different layouts that we like and post them here with just a short description. Just to give you a idea of what people are doing with our chalk products.

.This layout was made and sent in by our latest Chalk contest winner---Donna Lehr. Her discription is Winter Wonderland. Donna used Heidi Swapp snowflake mask and glimmer chalks. She dabbed over the mask with an ink dauber, first with the blue, then blend in teal around the edges and pink on a halo around the outside. Its is had to see the shimmery and shiny from the scan. She put jewels in the center of each snowflake and also chalked the edges of the mats.

The top and bottom photos are also sent in by Donna Lehr--- Play, laugh uses maskes letters and flowers. She did the flowers first, starting in the middle with the lightest color. She then added the chalks in a circular moanner using cotton ball. Keep going over it until you get the vibrancy you want. Using orange swipe all around the yellow area with cotton ball blending in well where the colors meet. Then use red on the outside in the same manner. Teh letters are done the same way with yellow, green and blue. The first letter of each word uses the outline of the letter. The chipboard circle was covered in white paint and the flowers stamped with clear Versamark ink. Chalk is them applied and the ink picks up the colors in the chalk and darkens it.

Beauty Card made by Andrea Cloutier --Scrapfriends.

Andrea applied modeling paste to a brass stencil ( the vines and grapes) and set aside to dry. The design was lightly sanded to diminish peaks. The design was then chalked using decorating chalk kits #2 and #3. The background was also chalked to soften. The saying was stamped using dye ink. A ribbon of fiber was added as a final touch.

The above layout is made by Lynette Daniel-Owner of Scrap That Moment . She explained that she started out by choosing a black textured heavy cardstock by World Win Papers and then she placed the first 5x7 photo down, matted the 4x6 photo with another textured cardstock by World Win Papers Caribbean Collection.

Then she used a sponge applicator and loaded it like a paint brush with he new Glimmer Chalks #2 set and "painted" the flames with the colors on the top row. Using Denim, Golden Orange, and Blue/Red.

To add dimension to the glimmer chalks design, she then took a real paint brush and used black acrylic paint to shade and outline the glimmering flames.

She stamped the title with red acryllc paint and highlighted inside each letter with the golden orange, and then painted the shadow to add the sultry lure to the page.

Finished with a Sakura of America Souffle pen and Wrote~ "Get lured to the" the date and "Zach Aka Darth"

She hopes to inspire many crafters using the new chalks from Craf-t Products.

The above layout is done by Cara Bresette Yates. From Scrapthatmoment.com. Here she was doing a layout of her mom. She used Decorating Chalks on the Ribbon to give it that nostalgic look. You can see more of Cara's work at www.scrapthatmoment.com in the Craf-T Products gallery.

The above layout is done by Ki Kruk you can see more of Ki work at www.scrapthatmoment.com.

Here Ki sketched the flowers on ,inspired by a sticker by psx. On the flower centers and the bleeding hearts and yellow foliage in the background (at the top of the bouquet) she used liquid appliqué by Marvy, which she heat embossed and then it went puffy. Then she chalked it. She did the outlining of the flowers and leaves with sakura gell rolls and glaze pens. Hand cut title, bazzill cardstock and the ribbon she cut little slices in the paper to "wrap it around the bouquet.
