| The Lord is opening the understanding of many hearts in the jails and prisons. We have witnessed many people come to Christ. The fruit for the harvest is indeed ripe. We thank God for the privilege of this ministry. It is indeed a privilege to see Jesus in all those shining faces after they hear the good news of salvation.
We are requesting some assistance in providing new or used clothing for former inmates and non perishable food items. We are seeing an increase in the calls from inmates that have been released or are soon to be released and we would like to be there for their needs.

Ministry Needs - Service
Christian inmates desire spiritual edification on a one-to-one basis. Prison correspondence, due to rules and regulations this cannot be done by anyone registered as a volunteer. If you like to write this is an opportunity for you. All correspondence is sent to our post office box address so that no inmate gets your home address.
Worship leaders are needed. Music is a powerful and effective tool that draws inmates into the Bible study. As you look at the list of Bible studies you can see the opportunities that are available. Commitment of once a week is available.
Counseling and encouragement is needed at all Bible studies. If you enjoy a one-on-one involvement all Bible studies need volunteers to go in with the Bible teacher. Again there are a variety of times and days to choose from.
Released inmates need someone willing to pick them up when they first get out of jail. Many of them would like transportation to church, being too intimidated to come alone for the first time. Some have never seen the inside of a church before.
At every Bible study the attendees submit their prayer requests. These are typed up each week and available in hard copy or via e-mail attachment. All are confidential and must be kept that way.
Prayer for the ministry is also needed on an ongoing basis
Office help of all skill levels is needed. Currently the office is in our home. Some of the needs include sharpening pencils, using the copier, stamping Bibles, collating papers, reading and sorting through donated books, etc.
Ministry Needs - Financial
- Office supplies replenished
- Non-perishable food donations for inmate's families
- Concordances and Bible Dictionaries paperback only for Monroe County facilities
- Pencils and lined paper for inmates
- Christian reading materials
- Housing, Jobs, Food, Clothing (new or used)
- Toiletry items for released inmates
If you would like to be involved then please contact Don Ciarico.
