Icelandic Sheepdogs came to us as a natural extension to the love we have for Icelandic horses.

These dogs are energetic and entertaining. Yes they do bark, but they are herding dogs after all. There is great variation in color but temperament leans toward loyal, loving and eager to please.

They can be a great all around farm dogs. It would be wise to plan on having more than 1 of these little scamps. They like to play.

The breeding of Gunnar and Faeda was planned for the fall of 2011, but nature had it's way and 5 lovely puppies were born.

The puppies will be AKC registered.

Four of the puppies have double dew claws on their back legs. The black and white female with the white face has doubles only on one rear leg.

Coat length is difficult to determine at this point.
