You are invited to worship with Damascus Road

It is relatively easy to be a part of the worship life of The Church of the Damascus Road. Just send your name, address, phone number(s), Social Security number and birth date the week before you would like to attend (indicate which date) by Email at: DamascusCh@aol.com or send the information to the following regular mailing address:

We will send you some instructions, directions, and guidelines to help you in your visit. Then, at Fort Dodge Correctional Facility be at the Reception Desk by 6:25pm to present your ID and be checked in. You will be escorted to the Visiting Room. At North Central Correctional Facility in Rockwell City be at the Control Center by 5:50pm to present your ID, be checked in and Pastor Lang will escort you to the worship center. The worship service begins at 7:00pm at FDCF, and at 6:30pm at NCCF. We have fellowship after worship. When we leave the institution we go the a local restaurant for coffee and conversation.

Activities of the Congregation

Inmates participate in the annual CROP Walk at the North Central Correctional Facility.



 

CROP Walkers at the Fort Dodge Correctional Facility are enthusiastic about "walking because they walk.

"Nine times around the yard equals 3 miles. Many do more than 3 miles.

KJYL FM100.7 Radio Give-a-Way

 

In 2002, Jay Rudolph, of Radio Station KJYL in Eagle Grove, Iowa, called on listeners to donate small "boom boxes" to 28

inmates at the Fort Dodge Correctional Facility. This allowed inmates to tune in to KJYL and enjoy Christian programming.
