Guitar Covers

The Fender Telecaster © lends itself very well, to the hand tooled and carved leather cover, made famous by the late country singer, Waylon Jennings.  This cover is NOT exactly like his, as I chose rather to leave the tooling natural, and dye the background with a dark brown penetrating dye.

The edges are finished with a natural leather lace, and the strap, of course, is a matching accessory, complete with Schaller © strap locks.

This is a leather covered Telecaster, but this time, the pickguard also is natural leather, and the design is natural with a burgundy background, black side gusset, black leather edge lace, and a burgundy back panel.  Stand Sure Music, Toronto, has fitted a Bigsby Vibrato unit, and also installed a 5-way selector switch with a stacked tone knob for a myriad of tones not available on a stock factory model.

This is a Jay Turser small body guitar, which originally was stained red, but is now covered with leather, carved and tooled with maple leaves, and also displays the owners initials.  The entire cover is finished in a tan antique with tan edge lacing.

but the center ‘vee’ is dyed brown.

This guitar, after being given a ‘leather face lift’ was assembled and set up by David Anderson of Stand Sure Music in Toronto.
