aged 26 years 9 months and 18 days
She is not dead but sleepeth
A calm and untroubled sleep
Sickness and sorrow are o’er
Sighing and tears she knows no more
And wherefore I should weep
She is not dead but sleepeth
And from the grave shall rise
And clothed in robes of heavenly light
Shall welcome in her upward flight
Her Saviour in the skies
W.H. Linam
Born June 10, 1802
Died Sept. 16, 1882
True we know tis but the casket
We have hidden from our sight
In our Father’s crown the jewel
Gleams forever pure and bright
So we try to bow in silence
‘Neath the blow that on us fell
Knowing He whose hand had dealth
Ever dealth all things well.
