8/9/08 - First Flight
This was our first flight in our pursuit to spot some bighorn rams. It was amazingly more productive than we had originally thought. We figured it would be more fun than productive, but it was very much of both. First thing, right off the bat, we saw 5 or 6 mountain goats. Next we spotted a small herd of elk....all bulls!! Then Gary spotted this group of sheep. As it turns out, they are all RAMS.....all 22 of them. What luck!!!! We have found the general hunting area......unless something drastic happens to move them out of there....like weather, grizzly bears, tsunamis, or Armageddon.
