This is the semi-autobiographical coming-of-age story of young sign maker Zach Jadowski. Zach is loved by all but he hates his life. He can't wait for the big break that will take him far away. Frequent trips to the ice fishing shack, along with madcapped snowmobiling and ice hockey adventures, help to dull the pain of his small town existance but he can't help but feel something's missing. If his friends can be a little more understanding Zach may just find his ticket out. Either that or he'll accidentally stumble onto it!
