Space Battle Created by Rob Schrab A Ringwald and Molly Adventure Short Comedy Time - 4:00 Minutes |
Wisconsin native Rob Schrab is the creator of the comic book "Scud: The Disposable Assassin" and the short film "Robot Bastard" (which was a highlight of the 2002 WildWood Film Festival. Schrab and Dan Harmon , also of Wisconsin, wrote and executive produced a 1999 pilot for fox called "Heat Vision and Jack". The show, starring Jack Black and Owen Wilson and directed by Ben Stiller, was never aired but recieved critical acclaim. In 2003, Harmon and Schrab created Channel 101, a monthly film festival in Los Angeles where up to 5-minute-long television "pilots" compete against each other in front of a live audience, which determines which shows get picked up for another episode. Channel 101 has recieved mention in the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times. It was alos recently featured on The Sundance Channel's "24 Frame News" program. "Space Battle" is one of many adventures of Ringwald and Molly that can be found on the Channel 101 web site. |
