Winks is my new kitten
She was born in March
I got a ring at 11.30 pm at night.
I looked out and there was a a box, inside was winks.
She was in rough shape. Hypothermia, starved and thirsty,
she also had a eye that was obviously pushed up into her head
and was very baldly infected.
We couldn't bare to give her up. We paid for her care and she has been a blessing.
We lost Shadow 2 weeks lator, our cat of 10 years.
Winks was abused by previous owner,
beacause of that, she has a bit of a split personality.
She can be real sweat, come over to you rub against you.
But if you try and pick her up, when she doesn't wan't it, she bites you.
When we got her fixed, the doctor let a new vet do it,
without our knowledge,
she got air under her skin. She blew up like a balloon.
We had to kneed her fur out 3 times a day or to much air would get in there.
Took about 5 weeks.
She still has a ball of air that that wont come out.
Doc says its a fatty deposit. Not sure if i belive him.
She got it right after the surgery.
Over all she has been threw lot. Im glad we were able to save her.
Her motherly instinct has kicked in with my newest kitten Willow
Wink's licks her & plays with her.
