Like Cheers to Norm, this is one spot where everyone knows his name. Boy is grateful for your visit to his place, particularly because he knows it is always in such a state of repair. From here he offers a path to other parts of HIS OWN PLACE as well as directions to the work of other folks that he thinks you may find interesting. Boy does hope you enjoy your visit and will be cheerful even if you can only stop long enough to say hi.

This is it! This is the time of year Boy cherishes most of all. The Holiday season means so much to him that Boy has assembled his HAPPY HOLIDAYS PAGE in hopes of spreading some yuletide cheer. Please stop by and visit him there during this most wonderful time of the year.

Building a snowman is just one of the many winter time activities Boy enjoys out in the snow while his relatives snuggle up in their dens. A magic hat and the winter's cold may keep the snowman safe, but Boy knows it will be a break from the cold, some hot chocolate and a cozy fire that will keep him safe from that urge to join his family in their long winter's nap.

As Boy works away splitting the wood which will keep his den cozy during this winter he is happy thinking of all that forests do for him. Besides providing everything from pencils to Christmas Trees for everyone, forests are the home of his family and friends. Boy hopes you will help protect all of the woodlands by heeding the advice of his most famous relative, Smokey Bear.

The end of his baseball season just means that Boy will find more time to kick the old pigskin around. Although Boy knows he won't end up wearing a Chicago uniform he sure does have fun playing football with his woodland team. Because football is just one of the many great things to do outdoors, Boy will be spending plenty of time outside before those north winds tempt him to take a long winter's nap.

CAMPING Boy the Bear ©

While some of his mischievous relatives may enjoy disrupting the camp of others, Boy enjoys a well prepared camp of his own making. Boy stresses two important rules to all campers; first, always be careful with campfires and second, leave the camp site cleaner than you found it. This natural outdoorsbear enjoys the idea of camping so much that he has created BOY'S INTRODUCTION TO CAMPING in hopes that it might offer some help to those heading out on their first camping trips.

THE INTERNET

Although Boy sees the value of having all the baseball statistics you could ever want on the Internet, he believes much of the other information is far less handy. For example, he finds all the telephone numbers listed at the Switchboard and Yahoo People Search down right frightening when he thinks of trying to push only one number button at a time. The need for all the TV listings at TV1 or TV Guide is questioned by a guy who only needs to know when his favorite team is playing. He also feels that if you can't sense the weather changes then what the Weather Channel tells you won't change which berries you eat. If your instincts don't lead you there, Boy is sure that the maps at MapQuest won't take you to the right place either.
