A description of a bulldog is a large lump of solid love with lots of wrinkles and sad eyes. Their disposition is gentle and easy going, with aggressive bulldogs being few and far between. Being Non-Sporting Breed, you can imagine the level of activity bulldogs enjoy. Bulldogs make excellent family dog's because they don't mind being played with by children, and are tolerant of most living things, including other pets. They are protective, but more cautious than aggressive. You "gotta" love those bullies.
