1870 Fed US Census; Listed as a Laborer in Rochester Ward 6, NY and living with wife Louisa and children Minnie, Ernest, Lena (my Great-Great Grandmother), and Louisa. Ernest was born in Prussia and Lena was born in NY. So, the family came over from Prussia sometime around 1866 and 1867.
1880 Fed US Census: Listed as a Laborer in Pittsford, NY and living with wife Louisa and children Earnest, Caroline (Lena), Louisa, August, Rosa, Clara (Carrie).
1900 Fed US Census: CAN NOT LOCATE
1910 Fed US Census: Louisa listed as widowed and living with daughter Minnie
