bullet  General Notes:

William C. White is found living with daughter Susie E. Sailors in the 1910 US Federal Census for Pitman, Madison County, Georgia.

His middle name is his Grandmother Lilis Canady-Lee's maiden name. William then handed down the same tradition to his oldest son William Lee Andrew White.

William's home and family cemetery is located on land currently owned by Elridge "Duck" Baxter. Duck operates a cattle farm and the house and cemetery are in the grazing pastures. The coordinates of the cemetery are 34 deg 8.005' N, 83 deg 21.754' W. The coordinates of the house are 34 deg 8.033' N, 83 deg 21.749' W. Both the cemetery and house are in a state of disrepair. Ivy now is completely covering the roof of the house and almost all the headstones in the cemetery are damaged or illegible. It is a beautiful piece of property and must have been a very nice location to live.

William's headstone is marked with a dove and reads: "W.C. White, Born Oct. 21, 1831, Died Nov. 2, 1913, Thou art gone from a world of care, the bliss of heaven to share."

Note on William's death date: Transcribed Christopher White Bible records of William's death year show 1918.
