Barbara Lynne Durgee, 65, of McMurray died Monday, March 8, 2004, in Canonsburg Hospital. She was born May 25, 1938, in Rochester, N.Y., to Robert and Jennie (Mohauk) Beachner and was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, John M. Durgee; sons, John R. (Marcia) Durgee of South Park and Michael T. Durgee of McMurray; daughter, Carroll (Harry) Kainaroi of Bethel Park; grandchildren, Christopher, Thomas and Calla Kainaroi and John and Caroline Durgee, and brother, Robert Beachner of Liverpool, N.Y. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at BEINHAUERS, 2828 Washington Road, Peters, where services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Pastor Rick Wiate officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Washington City Mission, 84 W. Wheeling St., Washington, PA 15301.
Barbara married John Durgee, son of John S. Durgee and Amelia T. Detlefsen.
