Ellis Harold Fitzpatrick, 80, of Danielsville, died Monday, September 18, 2000.
A native and lifelong resident of Madison County, Mr. Fitzpatrick was a son of the late Ernest O. and Chester White Fitzpatrick.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Erastus Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 21, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, with the Revs. Ray Jenkins and Billy Glosson officiating. Burial will be in Ila Cemetery.
Mr. Fitzpatrick is survived by his wife, Hallie Grace Minish Fitzpatrick; son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Eleanor Fitzpatrick, Danielsville; daughters and sons-in-law, Louise and Larry Bond, Danielsville, Bernice and Jerry Malcom, Snellville, and Barbara and Donald Hardigree, Statham; six sisters, Jeffie Fitzpatrick and Mary Dobbs, both of Commerce, Robbie Burnett and Martha Davis, both of Greenville, S.C., Vera Timms, Danielsville, and Chester Wylder, Stockbridge; four brothers, Wilson Fitzpatrick and Clyde Fitzpatrick, both of Danielsville, Horace Fitzpatrick, Cleveland, and Chester Wylder, Stockbridge; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family was to have received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
