Danielsville Norman "Obediah" Fitzpatrick, 83, of 2454 Joe Cooper Road died Friday, Aug. 22, 1997. A native of Madison County, Mr. Fitzpatrick was a son of the late Chester Bonnie and Ernest Obediah Fitzpatrick and the widower of Lula Mae Parham Fitzpatrick. He was a mechanic and a member of Rogers Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Rogers Baptist Church with the Revs. Carlton Peters and Norman Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will be in Ila. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Bond, Danielsville, and Nancy Lunsford, Comer; a son, Norman Fitzpatrick, Gainesville; six sisters, Robbie Burnett, Greenville, S.C., Martha Davis, Mauldin, S.C., Mary Dobbs and Jeffie Fitzpatrick, both of Ila, Vera Timms, Danielsville, and Chester Wylder, Stockbridge; four brothers, Clyde Fitzpatrick, Danielsville, Ellis Fitzpatrick and Wilson Fitzpatrick, both of Ila, and Horace Fitzpatrick, Cleveland; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The family is at the residence of Linda Bond and will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce. O'Day Fontenot Jr.
Norman married Lula Mae Parham.
