bullet  General Notes:

The 1900 Fed census that shows Catherine living with her daughter Margaret Pritchard says that Catherine is the mother of 9 with 5 children still living. It also says that she immigrated in 1837.

Rochester, NY Directory listings and Fed Census:
1871 Englert Catherine, brewer, r. 117 N. St. Paul, house do. (I think son John V. Englert was running the brewing operation for Catherine) - also listed in business sect
1872 same - also in business section under brewers
1873 same
1874 Englert Catherine, widow, h. rear 117 N. St. Paul - Brewery no longer in business section. I believe Catherine starting selling/portioning off this property and created the street Bismark Place. On an 1875 map of Rochester, 117 N. St. Paul is not an adress and the street Bismark Place is in its place with a small brewery at the rear.

1889 Englert Catherine, widow of Jacob, house 6 Louis Park (I think this is the back of the same house at 40 Oakman, today 6 Louis park doesn't exist. The house today looks as if it is a double and address 6 would have been the back half)

Death certificate (#44732, NY) says that she was in the U.S. for 61 years, so that indicates she immigrated in 1830. This conflicts with the 1900 census. Her death certificate also says she aged 73 years, 6 months. The age data matches the 1900 census.
