Interesting fact - 117 N. St Paul is right in the middle of High Falls Brewery currently in operation. High Falls used to be known as Genesee Brewing Company. Looking at an 1875 map of Rochester it looks as if the Germans in the area had a few small breweries operating in this section of the city that Genesee Brewing Company ultimately took over and consolidated.

According to Brenda at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Jacob was buried at St. Joseph's and that cemetery was moved to Holy Sepulchre in 1872. The records state that Jacob is buried in Lot #177, Section 9. I visitted that plot but did not see a marker. There are plenty of markers from the same era and even some civil war veterans but Jacob's is not visible or there never was one.
