Take a nice scenic drive on Route 26 North, heading up to the Tug Hill. You will travel approximately 25 miles until you reach the hamlet of West Leyden in Lewis County.
Once in West Leyden, go to the second flashing light and turn right on to Route 294. Travel east for approximately 7 miles to Boonville. Once there, follow the signs to Parking at the Adirondack High School.

If you're travelling North on Route 46, you will drive approximately 25 miles up through what is known as the Gorge Road.
A scenic route that will parallel alongside the old Black River Canal system and, if you look closely, you might even catch glimpse or two of the old locks that once was the major highway to the North.
This route will bring you into Boonville. Once in Boonville, make a left on Route 294 and follow the signs to Parking at the Adirondack High School.

Get on Route 12 North and travel approximately 35 miles to Boonville. Once in Boonville, go through Downtown and follow the signs to get on Route 294 to Parking at the Adirondack High School.

From Watertown, travel down South on Route 12 to Boonville. Go through Downtown once in Boonville and follow the signs to Parking at the Adirondack High School.

When coming from the Thruway, get off on Exit 31 in Utica and follow the instructions to Route 12 North above under From Utica. |
