Postcard Quilt Kits and Patterns

Postcard quilts are unique applique quilted scenes that are very easy to do. They can either be fused to the background with an iron on fusible web or the edges can be turned under by using cardboard templates and spray starch, and then machine zigzagged to the background using invisible thread.

The finished size of each quilt is 12 inches x 18 inches. The quilts can be used as wall hangings individually, or they can be combined to create a larger quilt. There is no paper piecing.

The small quilts in each scene are preprinted fabric and come with the pattern. Kits include the pattern and the fabrics for the quilt top with the exception of some small scraps of fabric. Buttons and other embellishments are not included.
