Jenkins50 was born
in 1815 in White County, Tennessee. He died in November 1890.
He was buried in Shirley Union Church, Washington County, Missouri.
After David's removal to Missouri he was lost to the rest of his family
in Tennessee until 1872 when he was accidently located through the correspondence
of Rufus Swift with his sister in Missouri who happened to mention a David Jenkins
in a letter. Mr. Swift told George W. Jenkins who wrote to David Jenkins at Potosi,
Missouri and found that he proved to be the long lost uncle. David's brother
John died in February 1872 without ever knowing what became of David.
David Beam Jenkins and Eliza Jane Staples were married on September 3, 1850.
They were married on September 17, 1850. Eliza
Jane Staples was born in 1819 in Missouri. She died on June 30,
1867. She was also known as Elizabeth Jane Compton. Previous
marriage was to a Compton and Charles M. Compton and Sarah Compton were born
of that union.
David
Beam Jenkins and Angeline Turner were married in 1834 in White County, Tennessee.
Angeline Turner (daughter of Daniel Turner and Elizabeth
Hillen) was born in 1815 in White County, Tennessee. She died in
1849 in Missouri. David Beam Jenkins and Angeline Turner had the
following children:
David Beam Jenkins and Isabella Wilson
Harvey were married on April 1, 1869. Isabella
Wilson Harvey was born in 1840 in North Carolina. She was also
known as Isabelle Harvey and Isabella Henry. Maiden name belived
to have been harvey henry therefore being name from first marriage validating
kay as daughter of first marriage.
