NOTES: This is the 2nd M&P in the Schering Series. The pestle does belong to this mortar and is marked with the name Coricidin. The 1964 pestle closely resembles the 1963 pestle except that 1964 pestle is slightly shorter -- 5.75 inches (see below). The 1964 pestle actually looks more like the 1965 pestle only with a rounded top and not a flat top as seen with the 1965 pestle. In addition, a tie and cufflink set and a plaque seen below were made using the 1964 M&P.
