I want to thank everyone for all the cards that I received while being in the hospital and at home. I have received a total of 350+ cards to this date and still counting. All the cards have been a blessing and great support, and all have great meaning to them. I have received two cards that really have touched me and I wanted to be able to share these special cards with all of you. The cards are called "We Are Sisters!" and "The True Spirit of Sisters."
We Are Sisters!
We can be ourselves with each other.
We share family and memories and know each other completely.
We share secrets and dreams and accept each other just as we are..
We can laugh and giggle about anything;
We share a sense of humor that is unique to us.
And though others don't often get the joke,
It bonds us together and lightens troubles and stress.
We count on each other and help one another.
In the darkest hour, we can see the light
As long as we're looking for it together.
We understand one another as no one else can.
We often know what is needed without being asked.
We listen and care.
We accept, even when we don't agree.
We're a special combination of friends and family,
And the bond of love we share is forever.

The True Spirit of Sisters
Sisters can be sweet sometimes and not so sweet other times.
They can be silly and fun or serious and demanding.
They can be happy and easygoing or a bit grumpy and hardheaded.
But whatever words you use to describe sisters,
you can never really capture their true spirit, because...
A sister's true spirit is found in her sensitive and caring feelings
that are there when you need them. That's just the way sisters are.
I hope the next time you stop and think of me, you'll remember
how much I care about you and know that we'll always be close;
we'll always have each other.
