	This is a BETA release for CoD:UO v1.51
	ONLY, and has not been fully tested. Although 
	some new features have been added, not all 
	features mentioned below may be present or work 
	correctly. 


Substantial changes to the original CKR for COD were required to support United Offensive; although a version of CKR for CoD:UO was released, it was expected to be only an interim step before a more complete and robust version could be released. Unfortunately, events overtook us, and the release of the 1.5 and 1.51 patches for CoD and CoD:UO have necessitated a "return to the drawing board," resulting in a complete rewrite of some CKR internals.

New to this version of CKR is support for UO's ranking system, including "permanent rank" (assign rank to individual players) and "clan rank" (assign a minimum rank to members of a clan), and a rank-based weapons balancing mode. 

If you are upgrading from a previous version of CKR, please review the new ckr.cfg file carefully as some cvars have been renamed, modified, removed, and added. We recommend that you start with this new ckr.cfg file and make changes to it in order to reflect the settings from your previous version.

Installation Instructions
----------------------------------
1. Extract the contents of this ZIP file to your Call of Duty installation directory (the CKR mod and config files will be placed in the uo\ directory).

2. Open the ckr.cfg and adjust settings (if desired). 

3. Open the messages.cfg and change messages. 

4. Add "exec ckr.cfg" and "exec messages.ckr" to the beginning of your server.cfg

5. Restart your server


How to Use the Mod
-------------------------------
At its core CKR is a weapons mod, and the new weapon settings will be in effect as soon as you restart your server. Additionally, the default CKR configuration will:

	- disable players' HUD and crosshair, and continuously check to ensure
	  that it stays off.

	- disable obituaries (notification that a player has been killed)

	- disable dropping of health when a player dies

	- disable dropping of weapons when a player dies

	- disable the second primary weapon (players can only carry the
	  weapons that they spawn with)

	- restrict available weapons according to players' rank and
	  number of players on each team (ranking must be turned on)

	- give players five seconds of damage immunity after spawning

	- punish TK'ers

CKR monitoring of the interface is turned on and off by a cvar (ckr_monitor), and what it does when monitoring is controlled by other cvars. To use this feature, please follow these steps:

1. Modify your server's config file to change default cvar values:

2. When the server is running, you can turn player monitoring on and off by setting ckr_monitor in your console. For example, typing "/rcon mypassword ckr_monitor 1" will turn monitoring on.

CKR attempts to inform players that it is turning their settings off but, depending on what the player is doing, they may not see the message, Be prepared to answer your player's questions. If you are a player on a CKR server, you can check the version of CKR running on the server by typing "/ckr_ver" in your console.


What Does CKR for CoD Change?

CKR makes the following modifications:

- All weapons kill with a headshot
- Weapons shooting rifle rounds wil kill with a shot to the torso
- Weapons shooting pistol rounds (including SMGs) will kill with two shots to the torso
- It will take 3 to 4 shots to an extremity to kill a player
- Bashing will kill in two "whacks"
- Grenade throw distance has been shortened
- Grenade damage radius has been slightly increased
- Grenade damage has been slightly increased
- Grenade will cook (4 sec)
- Players have been slowed slightly (less like RtCW, more like MoHAA)
- Health paks have been made toggable 
- Second primary weapon slot removed
- Shellshock has been made toggable
- K/D teambalance mode -- adjust based on teams' composite kill/death ratio
- You are able to punish clients that attempt to unbalance teams (useful in Clan vs All, it might get annoying to players if you punish for unbalancing during normal play as they have timeout for a sec)
