Here are photos of my Norman knight in progress.

The base uses the kit supplied metal part embedded in some water soluble putty with rocks and cat litter added. The cracks have been filled with white glue.

I have finished the base. It's painted with acrylics, oils and then pastel chalk dust on the rocks. The figure's face is done, and I have attached him to the base. Base coats in acrylics have been done on the shoes, interior of the surcoat etc. The blue paint was applied to check for smooth surfaces where I'd had to do some filling etc. The shield and right arm are separate, and nearly done (photos didn't turn out).
