Painted mostly with water mixable oils (where I could)
The first three pics show how he looks with just the cloth painted in water mixable oils.

The next four photos show the results after adding sepia to the leggings and trousers. I painted the flesh with oil colors, and then added a bit of 'sun' to the skin with burnt umber acrylic lightly washed over some areas.
The mail is painted with a few washes of lamp black oil, then the high points burnished with the end of a pin.

And here he is finished!
