CELEBRATION OF LIFE: This is a benevolence fund administered by the Outreach Committee, which assist need families in our community with the payment of bills that may be for rent, heat, electricity, gas, food, or other badly needed items.  Our pastor and the financial secretary protect the identity of the recipient, who must meet established criteria.  They money is obtained by gifts to the church in honor of someone’s birthday, anniversary, or other cause for celebration.  Checks should indicate they are for Celebration of Life, and the name of person(s) to be honored or memorialized.  The church sends a card to the person(s) being honored along with the name of the person(s) contributing.

HELPING HANDS OF PURNAM COUNTY FUND: The offering left at the communion rail on the first Sunday of each month goes to this fund.  Several members of our congregation are on the board and others volunteer for various service roles with Helping Hands.  The money is used to assist needy families in Putnam County.  Generally, our church is among the top contributors.  If you give by check, you should indicate that it is for Helping Hands.
