Sheepy Hollow at Native Oaks Farm
Meat Balls in a
Slow Cooker
1½
pounds of lean ground Sheepy Hollow lamb
½ cup raw rice (minute rice is okay)
1 can (10 oz) of tomato soup (condensed and undiluted)
½ cup of finely chopped onion
1 egg
½ teaspoon of salt
pinch of pepper (to taste)
Mix beef, rice,
chopped onions, egg, salt and pepper.
Shape into approximately 2 dozen meatballs and place in slow cooker.
Pour soup on top.
Cover and cook on medium for 3 to 4 hours or on low for 5 to 6 hours.
Turn the meat balls occasionally to keep them from burning on the bottom.
