How the games were chosen

Since more players specified preferences this round, player preferences account for most of the game assignments. Where possible, I tried to introduce variants not played in round one. Opponents were chosen such that every player gets a chance to player against every other player.

The table below shows the games assignments, who plays white, and will show the outcome of the games also. Note that the standard version of the variant is assumed, unless the players agree beforehand to play a certain variant of the variant.

If anyone does not have access to a table aware browser, please let me know, and I will either email you the table in text format, or put a text formatted table on this page. Note: please look at the bottom of this page for a plain text version of the game assignments.
