Biography |

David Tantillo’s credentials with regards to understanding the concept of leadership were earned through hard work academically, professionally, and personally. Academically, David Tantillo holds three different degrees. He earned an Associate in Applied Science in Marketing at Monroe Community College, a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics at the State University of New York at Brockport, and a Master’s in Business Administration at St. John Fisher College. Professionally, David has worked for Wegmans Food Markets for over 25 years with 24 of those years being in a part-time or full-time management position. While at Wegmans, he held other leadership positions like being a Wegmans Scholarship Steering Committee Member, a United Way Account Executive, a United Way Day of Caring Coordinator, a Safety Team Leader, and a mentor for Career, Summer, and Service Management Interns. He also completed 28 company-sponsored seminars, which has helped in developing young managers; in addition, he also helped teach two of these seminars to several other Wegmans employees. Currently, David is the Photo Category Merchant for all the in-store photo labs for Wegmans Food Markets. Personally, David has learned how to be a leader inside and outside of his home. He has learned how to be a good servant leader to his wife and his two sons. Finally, David is an Ordained Elder at a Presbyterian Church in Western New York. |

Accomplishments: Elected to “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges” while at St. John Fisher College Earned the St. John Fisher College M.B.A. Scholarly Achievement Award for having the highest cumulative grade point average in his graduating class. |
