Tara's Cross
Tara's Cross is my version of
Georgia Seitz's
"boo-boo" cross. I developed my version for my cyber niece's confirmation. I
wanted to give her a bookmark as special as she is. This pattern is for Tara's
Cross part of the bookmark only.
Thank you Georgia for all you have taught me, I look forward to many more
lessons from you.

I used buttonhole thread, and 3mm faux pearls for this example. Finished size
is 1.75" x 2.5" (4.44cm x 6.35cm).
R = ring CH = chain
CL = close RW = reverse work (bottom becomes top, back becomes front)
Use the continuous thread method (CTM)
Starting with the top center most ring.
R 2 --- 2 – 2--- 2 (--- is to be long enough for bead to be loaded on and
allow for a join) CL rw
CH 12, RW (outside corner)
R 2 + (load bead on first – of first R and join) 2 + (to center – of first R) 2
