If you buy gil n'stuff, use the link above =p IGE is the safest way to buy FFXI gil and characters.
06/22/06: I'm done with this, as you have probably noticed, so for anyone who wants it - Download the VB6 Source Code.
10/26/05: Need some help getting FFXIP to work? A Guide by Ikonic.
05/04/05: Crafting Online! http://ffxi.mmorpgparsers.com/craft. Download the parser, begin parsing, use the "/clock" command between synths, and then transmit the data when you're done. Be sure to set your player up first so we know the level of your crafting skills for that set.
05/03/05: I have improved the way FFXIP transmits crafting data, if some people would be so kind as to transmit some, I can put together the website for it for everyone to compare crafting results by element, moon, time, stuff like that.
04/28/05: Added crafting features! See the update under 6.5.0 below for details.
04/15/05: Please keep in mind that I no longer play FFXI and so without log files it's hard to fix any bugs that you may encounter. So please attach them when emailing me with a bug. FFXIP Online seems to be going ok. I've made some nice improvements to the website. How do you send your stats?
- 1. Parse some logs (duh) =p.
- 2. Click on Online and choose Setup.
- 3. Fill in the information for each player you want to send.
- 4. Click on Online and choose Transmit.
- 5. Select what data you want to send, all mobs, specific mob, or just your highest hits, and also choose which player.
- 6. Click Send and then visit the website (http://ffxi.mmorpgparsers.com) or click View in the menu.
03/31/05: I have added a free forum back to the website.
Introduction:
This program is designed to read the log files that FFXI dumps to your H/D. It does not violate the TOS agreement. It does nothing more than what you could do with a calculator and a stop watch. It's primary use is to help you decide which gear helps your character best.
Features:
- Online Result Comparison!
- Customizable statistics for each monster you fight.
- Fishing/Loot/Gil results.
- Keeps Party/LS/Tell/Say/Shout messages.
- Ability to add comments to each fight.
- Edit the results by selecting only the fights/players you want.
- Detailed report - See every point of dmg for an entire fight.
- Summary report - See your average damage/accuracy compared to others.
- Export HTML. See example!
- Export XML. Customize the data however you want.
- More!

Known Issues:
- "Additional effects" are not considered part of the same event as the attack that caused it. Because of this, and delay in-game, if PlayerA atks then PlayerB atks and PlayerA's effect goes off after PlayerB's atk, the parser will consider it PlayerB's effect. In my experience, this type of lag does not happen often.
- You must play with an overlay resolution of 800x600 or higher. 640x480 will modify the logs in such a way that the parser can't read them accurately.
- If your party fights 2 monsters of the same type at the same time, the total dmg will go onto
the first that died and then start over on the current one giving inaccurate results.
- Beastmasters will have problems. Currently it does not know a charmed creature from a non-charmed one.
Notes:
- As far as battle information goes, this parser only records what happens during the battle. For example: If you heal a party member before or after a battle, it will not show up in the data. A battle message must take place first before it reads the information. These "Battle messages" are any lines that include the enemies name.
- If you only have 1 PC, start this program before playing FFXI and see all the results when you are done playing.
- You must have all types of party messages on for accurate results of others.
- This program will read weaponskills, ranged attacks and magic bursts.
- You won't see Wyvern results unless you have Other attacks on, or are the Dragoon.
- If you run it on a 2nd computer, you must map a drive to the computer running FFXI for it to work.
- As far as I know, this program will not work with the PS2 or Japanese version. If you get it working, lemme know!
- I am always willing to fix problems/make changes to this program, just e-mail me!

Version 6.5.0/6.5.1 Update
Change:
- Added crafting features!
For this to work, it must be used in conjuction with the in game "/clock" command. The parser will read the data from the "/clock" command and group the results of your craft to that. You may use the clock command as often as you like, the parser will always pick up the last result and group the crafting results under that.
I have also added the option to transmit the crafting data to the website. If many people use this it could prove to be very helpful! I'm still working on the webpage to display this data in a useful fashion.
