The Owner

After all this time, I guess I should say a few words about myself and my family.  My wife, Carolyn, & myself, Ray Ford, raised 2 children in the beautiful hills of East Tennessee where we have lived our entire lives.  We do leave the area for vacations and other types of trips, but we have yet to find anywhere else as beautiful as our mountains.  Our son even had to come back to the mountains after being in Baton Rouge, LA.  He & his Family are over on the NC side though.  Our daughter has never left the TN side.

If anyone has noticed a break in the Packard's activities around 2003 and my slow up-dating of Ford's Garage, I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in June of that year.  In July of 2003, the tumor was removed, but I spent a month in rehab after the surgery finally getting out of the hospital in a wheel chair at the first of August.  Since then I have been fighting to get seizures under control and to continue rehab on my left leg which still suffers from a partial paralysis.  I did make it out of the wheel chair though.
