The 2003 New Richmond Heritage Days Celebration began with a Spaghetti Feast on the evening of Friday, September 26th. Saturday and Sunday were filled with activities for the whole family. Saturday highlights included Five- and Two-Mile Walk/Runs, the final session of the Farmers' Market and the opening of exhibits, demonstrations and historic building tours. There was plenty of food, entertainment and hospitality through Sunday afternoon, when I came back from a weekend of trout fishing to creel a few photos. This was the 18th annual Heritage Days celebration sponsored by the New Richmond Preservation Society. Click on any of the photos below to open a larger version in a new window. Hudson's 15th Annual Hot Air Affair will celebrate the Renaissance in February 2004. Pilot Dave Bracht and his crew keep trying to launch at Heritage Days...but once again the wind refused to cooperate.
