Awards 2008

The HCT Annual Meeting is held each year in conjunction with the Awards Banquet.

 

The Annual Meeting is open to all active HCT Membership holders and is held in January each year, location of the banquet varies so check back for this year’s location.

 

At the Annual Meeting there is everything you could want to know about HCT fiscally, operatively, and logistically. New Board of Director nominees are introduced, nominated and elections are held for the same.

 

Socializing and dinner precede the meeting which culminates with the formal presentation of the Annual Awards.

Each year, a panel of judges attends all performances given by Hawkeye Community Theatre and vote on 4 awards (as shown above); Best Actress and Actor; and Best Supporting Actress and Actor. These are announced and awarded at the annual meeting at the end of each season. Additionally, a Service Award is given to an individual voted on by the board of directors as most deserving, based upon service to the theatre.
