Avatar Poser Program #2 :  H-Anim Posing program   an earlier version.

A Java enabled browser with a VRML plug-in that is EAI compliant is
required. Java 1.1 and Comso 2.1 are the most reliable.

  LIMITATIONS :

1 ) ONLY _ ONE _ Axis of Rotation per Joint.

	2 ) The program is NOT DONE YET. ( see #1 ).

3 ) No joints in head, hands or feet are accepted.
						( see #2 )
4 ) It will fail on some systems.

It cannot work if parts of your system
do not provide the required functionality.

  - - a plea for adherence to standards follows - -

It can only work if the 4 components :

		   - the browser
		   - the VRML plug-in
		   - the Java Virtual Machine
		   - the avatar

		conform to standards.

	Some companies intentionally deviate
	from standards to advantage themselves,

HURTING ALL OTHERS IN THE PROCESS.

  Note :

Robust & Reliable solutions will emerge with
Java 2.0 which will be standard with Netscape 5.0.

Java 2.0 will eliminate the need for a separate
VRML plug-in, the browser non-compliance problem
will vanish and then H-Anim 1.1 can flourish.

Have fun ! I've enjoyed using H-Anim with Java.
